1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Dangle Dazzle (“we”, “us”, “our”) looks after your personal information when you visit or buy from https://charmsarena.uk/ (the “Site”). We sell charms and jewellery and deliver only to addresses in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we follow UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. The information we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and the items you buy.
- Payment details: handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Account details: your login email and password, if you create an account.
- Marketing details: your email address or WhatsApp number, but only if you give it to us so we can send you news of new designs and products.
- Messages: emails, WhatsApp messages and other contact you send us about orders, returns or complaints.
- Browsing data: cookies, your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view on the Site.
3. Our promise on your data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers described in section 5, and only so they can help us run the Site and deliver your order. We do not keep your details for any purpose you have not agreed to, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
4. Why we use your information
We use your information to process your order, take payment, ship your parcel, send your invoice and prevent fraud. We also use it to improve the Site (analytics) and, only if you have opted in, to tell you about new products and offers.
| Purpose | Our legal basis |
|---|---|
| Process and deliver your order, take payment, send invoices | Contract |
| Keep tax and accounting records | Legal obligation |
| Prevent fraud and keep the Site secure | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics and improving the Site | Legitimate interests, and consent where cookies require it |
| Emails or WhatsApp messages about new designs and offers | Consent |
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:
- Payment providers, who take your payment securely.
- Couriers and postal services, who deliver your order within the UK.
- Analytics and email tools, if we use them, to understand Site use and send messages you have asked for.
- Authorities or advisers, where the law requires it, for example HMRC or our accountant.
We do not knowingly send your information outside the UK. If a provider processes it elsewhere, we make sure an approved safeguard protects it.
6. Cookies
When you visit the Site, our providers and we may store small files (cookies) in your browser. Some are essential, for example, to keep items in your basket. Others remember your details so you do not have to type them again on your next purchase. Others, including some from Google, help us measure how the Site is used. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent, and you can change your choice or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
7. Marketing
We save your email address or WhatsApp number for marketing only if you give it to us so that you can receive updates about new designs and products. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP on WhatsApp, or contacting us. We will then stop messaging you and remove your details from our marketing list.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep order and invoice records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, normally six years. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and handle any follow-up.
9. How we protect it
Payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers, connections to the Site are encrypted, and access to customer data is limited to people who need it. No online system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Children
The Site is not aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us, and we will delete it.
11. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
be told how we use your information and ask for a copy of it;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, including closing your account;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information, and object to marketing at any time;
- withdraw consent whenever we rely on it;
- ask for your information in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 14. We will reply within one month.
12. Complaints and account deletion
If you have a problem with product quality, receive a broken item, or receive an item that is not what you ordered, contact us via our official email or WhatsApp. You can use the same channels to request account deletion.
We aim to respond within 24 hours. A member of our team will contact you and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, because customer satisfaction is our priority.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
